I'm trying to get compiled simulations to work in Mac OS X. For some reason there is no file "simext.c" and so when gcc goes looking for it, compilation fails.
I've redownloaded and did a fresh install of VensimDSS. The simext.c file does not appear in /Users/Shared/Vensim/comp where all the other complied simulations files are, e.g., mdl.macx
Not sure what's going on...
Thanks!

Are you using the GCC compiler? Or XCode?

Not sure what you mean. I have XCode 3.2 installed which includes the gcc complier. If you mean gcc vs. llvm, I'm using the stock mdl.macx script that, as I read it, calls gcc.

That's what I mean. I've got XCode installed and running now so should have an answer for you shortly.
