Copy and paste models structures PLE

I would like to know if it's possible to copy an external model structure and paste it in another model.
I don't succeed to do it with PLE version.

It should work fine, though it's slightly more work than in advanced versions, which permit opening multiple models simultaneously.

Open your source model
Select the structure you want (Edit menu has some useful tools for this, or you can drag a box and shift-click on the view)
Edit>Copy
Close the model
Open your target model, or create a new one
Edit>Paste

Copy and paste works fine for me in PLE.

Can you explain the exact steps you are taking?

I was doing something wrong, I was opening another window of Vensim and not closing the first one.
