By adding a regular runname, for example "test" I get the following message:
"Can't write to the file test.vdf (busy or insufficient permissions). Choose another."
So I was choosing a path on my local pc and all features work, but the name of the run is allways the path name.
for example: C:desktop (...)test
The name is long and doesn't look good in the charts.
Any ideaw what this could be? I only want the name of the run in the chart.
Thanks
Runname as path?

Re: Runname as path?
Hello,
I'm not entirely sure what you are doing here. Are you using Vensim, or the Vensim DLL? How are you adding the runname?
Kind regards,
Tony.

Re: Runname as path?
"Busy" collisions may be occurring due to file sync utilities, running over a network, or running in directories where there's a permissions issue. Generally you should not use pathnames; you should keep your runs local (i.e. in the directory with the model, which is the default).
