From steady-state to dynamic model

Hi, I am completely new working with vensim, currently using Vensim PLE 6.0.0.1., I have created the conceptual model at steady-state (with one single value in each variable), I would like to make it dynamic, but I do not know what could be the next step to follow. Also I would like to know how to make that one single variable can receive different inputs (with different units), process it into the model (which is like a template model) to be use for more than one inputs of different units and to get different output from the single stock?

At the moment what I have created is a replic for 8 different variables of the same template model, any help to make it more simple using one single process (stock)?

Have you read the PLE tutorial at
http://www.public.asu.edu/~kirkwood/sysdyn/VenPLE.pdf

This is a really good introduction to dynamic modelling. I would start with the tutorial before going any further.

I read the manual, and even after that I am still having some questions related to the current state of my model, could you please comment on it, if you see any mistake on the usage of the variables/functions of the model attached previously.

Could you tell me if there is any variable/function that I can use to storage the result of a simulation and then use this result as input of other simulations subsequently???

Thanks

I cannot really comment at all on the model. For example "tconst" means nothing to me. I'm certainly no expert in the chemicals industry.

It's far better to ask specific questions if you are having problems rather than asking for general comments.

When you run a model, it generates a VDF file. This VDF file can be used in other simulations.

See

PLE is for teaching purpose and to my opinion can be deeply misleading. For instance people study 'Business Dynamic' from Sterman based on an old version of PLE using only one view etc., learn to buid and analyze small scholar models and when faced with real world problems are totally lost because they use tools and methods totally unadapted to serious practical modelling.
If you want to do serious modelling, buy at least Vensim pro and be prepared to a very long period of learning based on self experimentation.
For instance your model needs subscripts only available in Vensim pro.

I have no shares in the Vensim Business!

Regards.
