Richard and others interested

Such a group sort of informally got started at the Wellington conference
where we had short get together of people interested in sustainability.
The outcome of that meeting was the setting up of the SDSustain
listserver (currently with over 200 members)- see details on the SD
Society website at:
http://www.systemdynamics.org/other_resources.htm

The list has the following purpose:

"This is a list for those with joint interests in System Dynamics and
the sustainability of the world. Its purpose is to provide a forum for
discussion of various aspects of SD praxis as it pertains to the
sustainable development and use of the natural world. Discussion could
range from the qualitative end (e.g. soft systems methodology and
similar approaches) through to a more quantitative modelling focus."

I would be keen to support any efforts to stimulate SD practitioners to
explore the various aspects of environmental modelling (and policy
modelling) to support the search for a more sustainable future.

Regards

John

At the Palermo meeting there was an announcement of the formation of an
environmental or ecological dynamics sub-group with in the SD Society.

Who is coordinating that? Who do I contact? I missed the details.
