Environmental Dynamics Update: 01 SEP 2003

Post by =?iso-8859-1?Q?Anast=E1ssios_Per »

Dear friends,

The first Environmental Dynamics Administrative Meeting (EDAM) and the first
ED Open House were quite significant for the Groups setup. All those who
participated came up with constructive ideas and criticism that send the
Group one step forward. The fact that we got to see faces and talk to
people was of particular importance to many, if not to all. Thus, we are
looking forward to the second EDAM and its accompanying event (whose name is
still to be invented) in Oxford, next summer.

The ED SIG has a (refreshed) web presence [home.utad.pt/ed], and interacts
through its discussion list [pobox.une.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/sdsustain].
It is the participation of all that makes us a Group. Starting as easy as
criticising the look or functionality of the website, or even the forms
available there, you are contributing enough. Going one step forward, all
members can submit references to material that could be useful to the Group,
or even actual material (details for the types of work that can be
submitted, as well as instructions for the submissions, are available on the
site). Feel free to send in your comments or information - this is a
friendly Group!

I will close this message with an announcement: the Group needs volunteers
with relevant experience for its Editorial Board, and this call is quite
urgent. The main task of the Editorial Board is to review submitted works
(more details on the website).

Best regards,
Tasso
