Model that shows the route to chaos?

Hi, I'm not an experienced systems modeler, though I've been experimenting and practicing with Vensim PLE Plus for a few months now. I was recently exploring the quadratic iterator function, using a simple spreadsheet model. The quadratic iterator is the function made famous by Feigenbaum that exhibits, through manipulation of an initial condition, the route from a steady state at a single value to oscillation around increasing numbers of values to chaos. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a systems dynamics model that exhibits the same behavior - by shifting the value of one or more constants, the model would move through the various stages of stability to chaos. I've tried creating such a model, but my skills are limited and I haven't been successful. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
