2-D Constraint on a Lookup

Post by tomauro »

Is there any way to constrain the bounds of a lookup? What I'm trying to get is a "2-D" slice of a lookup table to find the area under a curve for different values of Xmin/Xmax AND Ymin/Ymax. I know this is possible with VECTOR LOOKUP AREA (as in the example) but LOOKUP AREA only allows constraining the X dimension and VECTOR LOOKUP only operates on a 2-D array (not a lookup).

Can you give an example?

My gut feeling is that you would need to write an external function to do this.
