Hi
There has been an advertisement on the SD forum about the climateinteractive model. But I did not find if the model (probably written in Vensim) is available and if so where.
I know that Tom has collaborated closely to that model. Maybe Tom can give me an answer.
I do not pretend being able to judge that model but I just want to know what kind of tools have been used to test it. There has been some calbration from past history, but this does not prove either that the model describes correctly the past and certainly not the future. I think that embedded tests like reality checks if done with care and the participation of multiple people from diverse field may improve considerably the credibility of such a model. But were such tests made?
Best regards.
JJ

Re: Where to download the Croad climateinteractive model
Hi
Thank you for the information.
I have downloaded the model. It looks impressive. There are ten reality checks, which is not bad comparetively to other models. It is the first time I see a publish model with RC embedded.
But ten is a bit short, for a model of that size. Is'n'it? At least I may try to understand them!
Regards.
