I have problem with vensim DSS version 6.3 (x32) and Grass software for gis. I use ubuntu 10.04.
the problem is that if I install grass gis, vensim DSS does not work, while vensim PLS version 6.3 (x32) works

Have you the same problem ?

Vensim is not supported on Linux. How have you managed to get it running?

And when you say "it doesn't work", can you be a bit more specific? Any error messages?

I simulate window by WINE.

vensim DSS does not start. Vensim PLE starts and works without any problems.

When I delete Grass Gis, and reinstall vensim DSS, vensim DSS works normally

unfortunately I have no error message.

I'm not sure how we can help. Have you tried installing DSS after Grass?

Do you know if Grass interferes with WINE?

for the first question, no i will try and tell you what happen

I try to use grass for linus not for win, but Grass gis could modify the wine. i do not know but i think that it is unlikely
