"Don't have permission to save in this location"

I suddenly can't save models or runs in the directories that I used to be able to save them in. I'm running Vensim DSS 7.1 and was running (I just upgraded from 6.4 hoping the problem would be solved with the newest version. But...no).
I get the message: "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission. Would you like to save in the jim folder instead?" (The directory I want to save to is a sub-folder of "jim").
Note: I am the administrator. Naturally I have full permissions to the folder in question.
All other programs (e.g. Microsoft Word) operate normally.
Can you help?
