Hi,

I am a new Vensim PLE+ user.
The equation editor font size is just too small to work with.
Changing it via options-options doesn't work.
Using windows 10, screen resolution 1920x1080 . Changing this has no impact.
I can't work this way!

Can someone help me out, please ?

Try making the font smaller rather than larger.

Vensim tries to use the font you have selected, but if it means the equation editor cannot fit on the screen, it reverts to the smallest font to ensure it shows. So try 10pt, followed by 11 etc until it works.

I already read this trick in the forum and I tried many combinations. So far unsuccessfully.
It just stays as it is.
The equation editor is the hart of your software tool.
Impossible to work like this (see screenshot attached).

What version of PLE+ are you using?

Courier 9 or Microsoft Sans 9, 10 generally work fine.

This may interact with the operating system's font scaling in the Display control panel.

How big is your screen (physical size, not resolution)?

Hereby my version details in attachment. I downloaded it from your side only last weekend.
I took the x32 version, because I didn't see a x64 version.
I hope it's useful to bring this situation to a solution soon.

The diagonal screen size of this asus laptop is like 15.5 inch.
(The graphics card is a NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960M.)

I don't understand what is going wrong. It's getting frustrating.

Can I try downloading PLE+ again, but this time on a desktop computer?

You can download again, or you can also just copy the installer over to the new machine.

What are your font scaling settings in the Display control panel?
