Re: QGIS - Phyton - Vensim
I have not seen the combination with QGIS only with GIS.
Did you guys ever figured this out?

Re: QGIS - Phyton - Vensim
You can integrate Vensim with many other applications including GIS. But vague questions are very difficult to answer. For example, there is already a wrapper to load the Vensim DLL into Python, and other users have exported Vensim datasets for use in GIS software.
Is there something more specific you want to do?

Re: QGIS - Phyton - Vensim
I am at very early stage of my work. I am studying qgis because it is possible to use python to program qgis
.
However I need to integrate gis and vensim because I need simulate time and geographical evolution of my model

Re: QGIS - Phyton - Vensim
I am working on my thesis using Venism+ phyton and may QGIS.
I saw your message in Vensim frum regarding of combination of these three-techniques. I wonder did you find any result or idea about your question?
If yes, I will happy to share our knowledge

Re: QGIS - Phyton - Vensim
This forum is basically an archive, so I would ask the question elsewhere. Ventity may be a more natural fit - it has some native ability to display maps, and its data model is pretty close to a shapefile's attribute table.
