Crashes frequently on Windows 10 while editing converters, especially after copy paste

What do you mean by a converter?

And can you upload a model with instructions on how to re-create the crash? We might have a workaround (or be able to fix the bug quickly).

Just in case it's linked, I'll add my question to this thread. When I try to copy a section of a model and paste it into another view, even though I've been careful to set a prefix for any duplicated variables, I occasionally get a 'Vensim program error', saying 'Repeated in Onesort' and the program locks. I have to use the task manager to close Vensim.

If you can give us a model that demonstrates this, I'd be happy to take a look.

Thank you, but it seems to be the program, not a particular model, that is the problem here. This happens with any model if I copy a section of code, then try to paste it into another view with the paste settings shown in this image (the prefix 'Prem' is just an example, it happens with any prefix).

I'll run this through the debugger tomorrow and see if I can fix it quickly.

Strange. I can paste with a prefix all day long, no issues.

I get the crashes after I paste, and when I am editing the variable names.

I'm not getting any crashes either.

Can you let us know the exact steps you take (I'm selecting some model structure using the mouse, CTRL->c to copy, and CTRL->v to paste, then editing variable names using the standard AUX tool). It may be that the steps you take exercise different parts of the code which causes the crash.

I have been trying to replicate but have not yet found the exact sequence.

Hello!

I have the same problem with Vensim error "Repeated in onesort".

I would like to ask for support on how to solve it, considering I can not open the model.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Can you upload the model so we can take a look?

I can replicate the problem. We should have a solution soon.

You have two equations for "Contaminación" in the model file. You will need to edit the model with a text editor and delete the one that is incorrect.

Deleting one instance doesn't solve the problem for me. I think there may be multiple problems, or something deeper.

The problem is that both
CONTAMINACIÓN
and
Contaminación
exist in the model. I'm not sure how this could happen, except perhaps in an old pre-unicode version of Vensim.

The attached deletes the offending duplicates.

We've also had crashes in Windows 10. This thread looks like a specific issue, and we can't narrow our situation down. Often it happens when in SyntheSim mode in and trying to hunt down behavior in a large model.
