Hi,
I was wondering if there might be a way, by any chance, to give a higher weight to more recent years when using Vensim's automatic calibration, i.e. instructing Vensim to give a higher weight to discrepancies between simulation and historic data during a certain portion of the simulation period, in my case the most recent years.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes - you can either:
- calculate your objective function, including the weight, explicitly in the model
- make the weight term in the payoff file (vpd) a variable

Hi Tom,
Thank you! I was not aware the weight can be a variable. That, I think, solves my problem.
Cheers,
Kaveh.
