Vensim8 DSS not responding on MAC

I recently purchased a license upgrade for Vensim8 DSS. When I open a model file, initially, it operates just fine. When I try to switch to another model by opening a different model file, the software stops responding. Is this a common issue for Mac users?

What is the exact version of Vensim you are using?

And are any of the models/files you are using synced using things like DropBox, iCloud etc?

I am using version 8.0.9 and yes, the files are synced through Dropbox.

Does opening my files from Dropbox have an impact?

It can. Dropbox will lock a file while is it being synced meaning Vensim cannot read it.

I've got no trouble here opening multiple models.

Can you send your settings file to us? It's a hidden file in your profile folder called .vensim or .vensimdp.
