Running VenSim Pro 8.0.9 in Crossover v 19.0.1

After some continued frustration using Vensim Pro on my Mac, I decided to try running the Windows version using Crossover. I was able to install it fine, but when I tried to run Vensim Pro, I received a message indicating that " “There is no Windows program configured to open this type of file.” Any and all advice would be welcome. My Mac OS is Catalina v 10.15.4.

Can you try installing the 32 bit version of Vensim instead of the 64 bit one?

I was able to successfully get this to work with the 32-bit versions of VensimPLE and VensimPro. In referring to the 64-bit versions, my contact at CrossOver wrote that "That version must require some other dependency that it's specific to that version. It would be a 64 bit library of some sort. That might be a question for them. They likely know." Do you have any idea what that might be?
