We do have a related research. It is Ali Kerem Saysels doctoral thesis,
completed a few years ago. It deals with the lon-term comprehensive,
eco-environmental evaluation of the Southeastern Turkey Regional development
project (GAP), using sd modeling. The research may help you with your more
"general" question, at a macro level (that Ii quote below). The published main

Impacts of Intensive Agriculture and Crop Rotation on
Hello, Could anyone could direct me to models of the impacts of intensive
agricultural production and crop rotation on soil fertility? Im working on
a model of Bolivias soybean production/export chain (taking Porters
cluster approach) and am struggling to represent the progressive soil
degradation in the Santa Cruz area in a way thats neither so general that
the producers here wont buy in (which is what happened when I tried a
one-stock organic matter / "land fertility" W-3 approach) nor so
K-P-N-humidity-pH specific that we get bogged down in all the details.
Any ideas?
