Hi! I would like to using Vensim PLE, but I can't install successfully after downloading the Installation package. The error statement is the following:

“Resource file comes from a different version of Vensim(002)”

"Reinstall Vensim(error 977)"

My Installation info:
System: Window 11 x64
System Language: Chinese
Installation path: default
Usage: Academic use, very first time installation

Did you install using administrative permissions?

Yes,I did.

In C:\Users\Public\Vensim\PLE, there should be a file named en09020400.vrf, can you zip this and upload it to the forum please?

Hi, I have exactly the same situation, could you please help me out?
I attached the document in users/public/vensim, en09030200, don't know if that is what you need. But I am in a urgent of getting my assignment start. I hope this can be solved in a way. Thanks very much

I had same problem with Vensim Model Reader, I used the file from the current post but it didn't work

Can you let me know what language your computer is in please? I've set up a Chinese (simplified) machine here and Vensim installed without any problems.

Please start a new thread and provide some more information (such as operating system etc).

If you are running Windows, make sure you install Vensim as an administrator. Right click on the Vensim installer and select "Run as administrator".

If you still have trouble, please start a new thread and provide some information so we can help you.
