I just downloaded the newest version of Vensim and in the new GUI I can't find the option to change to a custom sketch toolset. I can change my analysis toolset in "Tools" but there is no option to change the sketch toolset. The option is in the correct place in the old GUI, but changes that I make there are not correctly reflected when I switch to the new GUI.
Please either let me know where to look or add the option back in.

We found that most users rarely changed the sketch toolset, so we've disabled customization and made sure you can still do most things with the current toolset.
Is there something you are specifically missing?

Yes, I have always liked to have an arrow with a plus sign and an arrow with a minus sign next to each other on the sketch toolset. This means I don't need to add those signs manually to each arrow I make.
Re: Custom Sketch Toolset in 9.2.4
Is there a hack we can implement to let me change the toolset without adding it to the menus? Or maybe a setting in the toolbar options could be added, since there really isn't much there right now?

I don't understand your question. What do you need to do that you cannot currently do?

The way that I use the custom toolset is to save myself a click every time I create an arrow by having one arrow on the toolset that has a plus sign automatically added to it and one arrow on the toolset with a minus sign automatically added to it. This is an important quality of life feature for me that I find saves time. Rather than clicking the arrow tool, then finding the head of the arrow, then clicking it and navigating a menu to select a polarity I can simply click on the correct arrow for the polarity I want to create.

If you create an arrow and then press the + or - key on the keyboard, it will add it to the arrow.
Or you can select as many arrows as you want using the mouse, then hit + or -, it will be added to the arrow.
