I am a HS teacher using materials from an online text called 'math in a vibrant and sustainable society." https://sites.google.com/site/offthebea ... le-society
The materials were written in 2016 and are specific to an older version of vensim PLE. Is it possible to download the older version of vensim PLE that would match these materials? I'm a brand new user and HS math teacher.

What is specific to the older version?
We'd recommend using the latest version if possible.

Re: older version available?
Not sure of the date for this older version, but maybe as low as 5.11
If someone could point me to a video that would be helpful to a brand new user of Vensim that is specific to version 9, that would be great. I'm having trouble creating basic graphs and sliders. I'm working with very basic systems---one stock, 3-4 rates influencing flows.
Tutorials I see reference seemingly different versions. Thank you.

Re: older version available?
Funny you should mention video for v9 - I just posted one yesterday. It's on the conference page, but not linked into other places yet:

Old models should be compatible, even 20 years back.

Re: older version available?
Version 5.11 might not even work on modern machines (it definitely will not work on a Mac).
If you really want Vensim to look like 5.11, it should be possible. First click Tools->Switch back to old GUI. Then click Tools->Options and tick the "Use old Vensim icons" checkbox.
It would be much better to familiarize yourself with the latest version though.
