There are a number of utilities similar to HyperSnap-DX to be found at
www.shareware.com. Im partial to Screen Thief, but havent tried more than
1 or 2 others. - Tom

INFORM Screen Capture for Windows iThink/STELLA
Colleagues
For those of you who have got annoyed with Windows version of iThink/STELLA
when it comes time to do your documentation, I have found a useful and
cheap ($25 USD) utility that makes it very easy.
Called HyperSnap-DX, this little program is a terminate and stay resident
utility that is activated using hot keys. You can load the program either
before or after starting iThink/STELLA, and can use it to capture either
the whole screen, or some accurately selected part thereof.
Once a screen snapshot is taken, it can be saved in a variety of graphic
images including BMP, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PCX.
The net effect of all of this is that you can copy ANY PART of your model
and paste it in a word processing (or web) document. This means that table
functions can be included, as can all other pop-up model bits.
One criticism I have of the iThink/STELLA software is that it doesnt
support cut and paste in the Windows environment - a fact that I have found
incredibly frustrating. With Hypersnap it is possible to overcome this
problem.
If you would like to find out more, surf to
http://www.hyperionics.com/
where you can download the software for a free trial.
Cheers
John
