Information Technology Architecture Modeling

Greetings,

Would anybody know of SD modeling work being done on IT Architecture.
Specifically, we are looking at alternative system configurations, relative
size or scale, and their effect on an organizations productivity. The
specific systems we are looking at are MRP, LAN, Intranet, Cost/Schedule
Control Systems (C/SCS), and various custom databases.

I would appreciate any information anybody may be able to share.
