I have problem to use excel file in order to import data as e variable in PLE version. I tries vensim help but it is not useful. All information in internet is for not PLE version.

You need PLE+, Pro or DSS to use spreadsheets.

So Is it free for students and academic uses. If yes how can I take that?

No, those versions are not free.
