Reference modes in Vensim PLE

Hi, I am trying to use the Reference Modes function in Vensim PLE to compare the actual GDP of a city to the simulated GDP generated by the model I built. However, after I input the pairs of data points representing the actual GDP using Reference modes, the graph still only shows the data points generated by my model. I want to have the graph of my simulated results and the actual GDP from reference modes in one graph. Am I missing a crucial step?

I can replicate this - it's a bug.
