I think this is an instance of one we're working on ... seems to be random breakage of the GUI library. Are you using Sonoma or Ventura or another OS version?

If you download a slightly older version (10.0 or 10.1) it should be ok.

As Tom said, we are aware and are working hard to get to the bottom of the issue.

I've managed to get to the bottom of this issue (the compiler provided by Xcode has changed at some point since version 14.2 to introduce this problem, but conveniently, only in release builds).

A new build will be coming within in the next few days.
