How to set link polarity to always on arrow handle?
How to set link polarity to always on arrow handle?
In the Vensim settings (options)/sketch/arrows I am missing an option to set the position of the link polarity marking to always be on "arrow handle" (inside or outside). In earlier versions of vensim I managed to set that, but not in the current version. Is there at least a way to do that by manually editing the file where the settings are stored? If so, what is the name of that file and what is the file path of it?

You cannot. I can add an option to the bottom toolbar though to set the position.

In the next release, you'll be able to set position of the polarity marker using the toolbar at the bottom of the sketch.

Re: How to set link polarity to always on arrow handle?
Thanks a lot for implementing this feature. At first I did not see it. At the very bottom of the menue there is now a submenu "Position". The cool thing is that you can select multiple arrows. There is now also a feature for putting the polaritiy on the handle (last option), which means there are no problems any more with having to switch right and left sides. The latter option only works in locked sketch mode. The latter is because when you in move mode, you need the handle of the arrows to move arrows. I wanted to attach a screenshot for others reading this but it seems this is not possible in a reply?
