Population

Post by hakani »

In the population example in the appendix, the age group scale is determined as 15 for children, 30 for parents and 20 for the elderly. What do the scales here mean? So, does it mean that up to the age of 15 is a child, between 15 and 45 is the parent's, and between 45 and 65 is the elderly? I didn't quite understand it.
I would be happy if anyone who knows answers. Thanks

Hi

You have four classes of people: the children age less or equal to 15. parents between 16 and 45, older people between 45 and 65 and old people more than 65.

There is a slight mistake in your model that will generate a mass balance error.

In the maturing flow people who die are still maturing. You must subtract the people dying from the stock maturing.

Regards.
