Hello.

I have installed my purchase of Vensim DSS and tried to launch it. But it fails and gives an error message like attached picture.
The error message is in Korean, so let me translate it.
It says...

vendss64.exe - No starting point
Cannot find procedure starting point "IsProcessorFeaturePresent" in DLL "C:\Vensim\vendss64.exe"

Could anyone help me to fix it?
My computing environment is as below.

CPU : Intel Core I5-3337U@1.80GHz
Memory : 4GB
OS : Windows 8 64-bit

I don't think Windows 8 is supported any more so it's unlikely Vensim will run on it.

You can try an older version, or even better, update to a supported operating system.

Mainstream support for the Embedded Standard edition of Windows 8 ended on July 10, 2018, and extended support ended on July 11, 2023. As of August 2023, 0.35% of PCs are running Windows 8.

You should definitely move to Windows 10.
