Lock tool will not unlock on Mac Sonoma 14.1.1

I am attempting to evauate Vensim for a commerical project using PLE.

I am an experience user but not for the past decade. I have created a simple model to see whether I can use Vensim for this project but have failed at the first step: The Lock tool does not unlock.

Vensim subscripting and optimisation functionality would be helpful for this application.

the team is distributed in different locations and using Windows and Mac OS

Is Vensim appropriate? If so, how to I ensure all the buttons on the user interface will work?

I recall this being a problem years ago on Mac OS

It's working fine for me.

Are you using an existing packaged model? Packaged models are read only (so the sketch is locked).

If you are not using an existing packaged model, what happens when you click one of the sketch tools (such as "move", the tool to the right of the lock sketch button).

I now have VensimPro installed on Mac 0S Sonoma 14.1.1

A couple issues:

1. the lock tool does not 'unlock'. Can you send me a picture of what it should look like unlocked?

2. Access to this website for helpfiles is denied:
https://www.vensim.com/documentation/Models/

Also, the status of my vensim version here is VensimPLE. I have VensimPRO. Am I not correctly registered?

After installation The files in /Users/Shared/Vensim/VensimPRO are:

I am building a model from scratch. When I was using Vensim on a PC a decade ago the unlock tool would 'open' when clicked. Now the image does not change, but some icons appear below the lock tool and the move tool when the move tool is clicked. Looks like this is new functionality to manipulate and align the sketches. Maybe its all working fine, just different from what I was expecting. Please confirm.

Not sure now how I ended up navigating to a 'denied' area, but your link works.

I think I understand what you are saying, if you click on one of the other icons to create sketch elements, the diagram will be unlocked.
