I have started to get the following error message when attempting to run the model in 10.2.1. The model is calling data from a spreadsheet and has been used successfully in the past. The model seems to run anyway but the error message pops up continuously. The model and spreadsheet are in the same folder. I have previously had a problem when the folder was in OneDrive but this folder is on my hard disk.

Re: Error message
You might start by checking Model>Settings>Excel Aliases to see if there's a pointer to that OneDrive path.

Re: Error message
Thanks Tom - no that field is empty. However when I "inspected" the spreadsheet I found some hidden metadata, which when deleted made the error message go away. I suspect that this came from multiple copying and modifying an original ancient spreadsheet. Hopefully this will help others who encounter the same error.

Re: Error message
Can you share the model/spreadsheet (vensim@vensim.com)?
Model MS Office documents have a http:// path internally which needs to be resolved into a path on the hard drive (this needs access to the registry). There is always a chance that MS have changed something that we need to deal with.
