SDEverywhere, a tool for MDL files to automate testing and publish web apps, got a big update in August 2024.

One of the biggest additions is an improved ease of installation and use by removing the need for Emscripten. The SDE tool now runs completely in JavaScript and can output pure JavaScript. We found that installing Emscripten was one of the biggest stumbling blocks for new users and, for small to medium models, the runtime performance was needed.
Also, Vensim's GAME variables are now supported in SDE. This means you can run a model and change variables mid-run, which is useful for numerous applications.
