I found this relevant conversation (viewtopic.php?p=31764). Following the instructions would allow us to interact with Vensim on Linux, is my understanding correct? But it doesn’t necessarily mean that we can use VenPy on Linux, right?

The Vensim multi-context library is intended for use on a web server. So yes, it does run on Linux, but does require you to write all the server code yourself.

I cannot answer this. VenPy is not a Ventana development, and I'm also certain it has not been tested with the multi-context library.

What do you need to do?

The API of the multicontext library is basically the same as the regular dll/shared library, so it would probably work. The multicontext library is a separate license though.

Thank you both! How can we get more information on multicontext library and license? We may also email you about this if you need further information. Thanks again!

Yes, please email. Make sure you include your licence details.

It would help if you could detail what you want to do though. The Linux library is expensive and might not be what you need.
