Hi!
I just got de Vensim DSS version so I can use the Venapp. However, I have some trouble finding everything.
I started with the Template Venapp that comes shipped with the Vensim DSS. I found the venapp text editor and I could open the Venapp text editor. However, there I got a bit lost. I understand that this is the text file, but how do I from here run the Venapp or reach the described editor where you can sketch and switch between text/sketch. I tried to look for the file>run venapp, but couldn't find it (see attachment).

I'm probably missing something very simple. Hopefully someone can help me out.

If it is any help, I also checked for the view>view as sketch/view as text.
I also didn't see anything there that could help. (but probably it's the same issue)

We need to update the help system as Venapps have been replaced with GUI objects.

Now you add GUI objects to the sketch rather than program a separate user interface.

You can also find an example model on your computer in the following folder.
C:\Users\Public\Vensim\Models\GUI_Objects

Thank you! i've been able to find the model and documentation and that is indeed very helpful.
I only haven't been able to figure out how to add the GUI elements myself. Where can I find them?

What would be interesting is to have a mdl file from the new GUI that behaves like the template.vcd and template.vpax file from the old GUI that one can find in the sample/venapp folder. One could then be able to compare how both systems from the old and new GUI work.
