Knowledge Management and System Dynamics

Dear Members,

I am doing my Ph.D in Intelligent Agents for Knowledge Management. First
time, I designed my agents for KMS in system development phases. But I
couldnt get the good result in my implementation. So I will apply
System Dynamics for evaluating and designing Agents in KM.

Who has the papers on this topic? Please share with us!

Thanks,
Haitan Rachman

In response to your post (SD4577), the Hawaii International Conference on
System Sciences has several papers on this topic. The conference is taking
place this week.

Scroll down to "Knowledge Management, Organizational Memory, and Organizational
Learning" The papers are not provided here, but there is contact info. for the
mini-track organizers that may serve as a starting point for contacting people
doing this type of research.

There were some recent papers on SD and agents at the ISDC2003 New York
Meeting (try http://www.systemdynamics.org/ for a link).
You may need to explore the use of multimethod simulation software that is
agent based, such as AnyLogic (see www.xjtek.com )

Hello,

Here is a paper that, if combined with Agent based modeling, could be a nice point of departure.

Hello,

The HICSS proceedings are published by IEEE, and they are free to anyone
who wants to look at them at least from 2001. You can find the
proceedings online at

As a follow up to Wayne Wakelands suggestion,

One paper scheduled for the HICSS, that should touch on topics of
relevance to your work would be

Agent-Based Modeling of Knowledge Flows: Illustration
from the Domain of Information Systems Design
Mark E. Nissen and Raymond E. Levitt

Nissens home page is
http://web.nps.navy.mil/~menissen/

I hope this helps
