InCoCo Business Game Available

As part of the EC-funded InCoCo (Innovation, Coordination and Collaboration in Service Driven Manufacturing Supply Chains) project, Ventana Systems have created a business game for the purpose of disseminating project results.  The game was created using the Sable interface package and Vensim simulation software and has been designed to be accessed via the Internet using Microsoft Explorer or Mozzilla Firefox browsers.

The game involves the interaction between a manufacturer and its service providers; packaging, maintenance, quality control and retrofit activity.  During the InCoCo project, consortium members developed a new process model framework for manufacturing services, together with a suite of key performance indicators (KPI's) called the Service Performance Measurement System (SPMS).  The game uses a simulation model developed to help understand the interactions between stakeholders (manufacturer and service providers) and enables user to investigate the impact of a range of coordination best practices on the outcome of the manufacturer and service provider business, as measured by the SPMS.
