If either of you can share some code, I can try. I've never used R before, but should be able to figure out how to do things.

Re: MFC programming to call Vensim model

Change your code to load "vendll64.dll" instead of "vendll32.dll".

Also ensure that you are building a 64 bit application.

Re: VENSIM output data from R

Vensim can read TAB files as well. http://www.vensim.com/documentation/fn_get_direct_data.html Or you can convert the TAB file before using it, http://www.vensim.com/documentation/tab2vdf.html And if you are launching Vensim via a command file, you can export the results once the simulation is finis...

Re: VENSIM output data from R

Can you explain what you need to do?

You can export a VDF to CSV, TAB etc. You can also convert CSV, TAB etc to VDF. I'm sure R can read CSV and TAB files.

You cannot use GET XLS... from Vensim PLE. You need PLE+, Pro or DSS to read data directly from Excel.

What was the original error about missing dlls?

And where did you get these "dlls"? You might need to delete them immediately and run a virus scan.

Is your computer fully up to date? That looks like an operating system problem.

And did you install the latest Vensim, or the Windows 7 version? You might have more success with the Windows 7 version.

In PLE+ you are fairly limited. You would first need to read all the data for all the classes into Vensim Vessel Class X Average Speed = GET XLS..... Vessel Class X Pay Load = GET XLS..... I'm not sure what is going wrong with this model. Somehow you have ended up with multiple "Ubicación" parameters, that is confusing the parser in Vensim. I've attached a model which loads. You will need to review it and decide what to do with the following parameters version a Ubicación 1 version b ...

This has come up a number of times on the forum.

First, make sure you download the installer to disk.

Then run it. If you still get the error, try disabling your anti-virus temporarily as it is probably interfering with Vensim.
