I would like to compare the trend values with a specific value in time. Can I retrieve the value related to a specific point in time?
For instance over a period of 20 years the fraction of Values related to the Value at time = 10 or: F(t) =V(t)/V(10).?
Is there a Vensim function to do this?

Re: Problems with initial values and starting runs
Increasing Saveper helped for response time.Thank. However I still have the problem with the initial values. See for instance the stock WACHTRIJ VERWIJZING PHOZ (the first yellow colored stock; top left) The initial stock should be 5000 butvthe graph shows 0. Looking into the equation the initial va...

Problems with initial values and starting runs
I suddenly got problems with runs when using my new DSS version: 1- I'm always asked for a flie name whilst in my previous PLE vertsion this name was directly available when running Synthesim 2- The initial values specified are not reflected in the stock results 3- I have to wait quit some time when...
Re: LOST VIEW
It might be possible that I cut in stead of copied. It was rather late!! Unfortunately I don't have a previous version that corresponds sufficiently with the current one. I assume that the only possibility is to start drawing again. How do I deal with the existing variables most efficiently? I don't...
LOST VIEW
After copying a Vensim view to a PowerPoint presentation I completely lost the view of the Vensim application. The variables are still there as well as the the other views. Can I restore the view without having to recreate the model ? If so can you explain how? Thanks, Joaquim de Witte GGZ WR 05.mdl

Re: Problem with using Venapp
I found VCE demo files in VensimDemo. However once opened I could not continue by pressing "any key" as indicated. In addition in the Vanapps documentation I stll couldn't find the way to transfer my own MDL models to the proper VCD format. By the way, I'm still registered as a PLE+ user a...

Problem with using Venapp
Today I installed Vensim DSS. Unfortunateluy I didn't succeed to use the Venapp Editor because I couldn't upload my Vensim models (MDLformat) in the VCD format asked by the Venapp editor (I used button below left). Nor could I find the demo drectory with Venapps demo's. I tried the new as well as th...

Re: Copy past problem
Can I upgrade to the most recent Vensim version with my current PLE-Plus license and still run my models? I assume that this would solve the copying problem
If so, which steps should I follow?

Copy past problem
I'm not able to copy and past model components from one mdl.file to another mdl.file (using PLE-PLUS). I selected the components to be copied (excluding the shadow variables), copied them and finally unsuccesfully tried to past them on an empy view page. Could you please advise me on this problem. From continuous inflow to batchwise outflow
Hi, I require submodels that transform continuous Inflows into discrete batchwise outflows. For example: an inflow concerns a continuous, but fluctuating, stream of goods (bricks in this case) and the outflow concerns batch-wise transportation of these bricks by barges (for example 80000 bricks per ...

Re: Integrating Vensim Excel
Thanks very much. This will do for the moment. We will certainly consider Pro/DSS as soon as initial funding is expanded in the next stage.

Integrating Vensim Excel
We are developing a Vensim model to evaluate, among other issues, energy use and emissions for multimodal transportation options (e.g. combinations of water, road and rail transport). The model is running fine but we also would like to run Vensim scenario's for combinations of different classes of t...

Re: Problems with time setting.
See attachment.
The intended time setting is
Initial time: 2020
Final time: 2050
Time unit: Jaar
In the first two to views I suddenly got a range 0 - 2000 and in the other views 0 -10. In the other views a also get an X on X axis in stead of the usual time-unit: Jaar

Problems with time setting.
The time setting in my model suddenly changed after some local adaptations in the model (changing local diffusion sub models by a Gompertz curve formulas) Initially everything went OK but suddenly the problem occurred. Strangely the timesetting changed differently in different sections of the model....
