Is it possible in Vensim to configure a chart where we include two variables of different scales to include a secondary axis - with a different scale - that allows for better interpretation?
If there is the possibility, how do I implement it?
Thank you very much.

Re: Help me with Staff model
Thank you very much, you're right. You've made me reflect. The effect I'm trying to capture with "people quitting" is that individuals leave the course at any time from the beginning of its delivery (either because they don't like the course or because they found a better opportunity). And...

Help me with Staff model
Dear,
Could you help me correct this model?
In the simulation, I'm getting negative values in the "Training" level variable, and I need it to always have values greater than or equal to 0.
I've tried several fixes but haven't been able to balance it.
Thank you very much.

Re: Continuos or discrete variables?
Thank you very much for the detailed response. I understand your argument and Forrester's regarding the loss of certain complexity when discretizing, and I am reflecting on its implications. I'm thinking about an example model that represents a production line of tables using level variables (consid...

Continuos or discrete variables?
What is the most suitable approach for VENSIM and for the essence of SD? Should we model discrete variables (such as the number of employees in a company) as continuous or discrete variables? When considering the amount of personnel in a company, we never have fractions of people as employees; we al...

Request of SD advice - Ph.D Thesis results
I want to make an academic inquiry regarding SD. Currently, I'm finalizing the research for my Ph.D., where I employ SD as a modeling tool for a complex system. Essentially, without delving into specific or thematic details, in my thesis, I develop, based on literature review and expert interviews, ...

Thank you @administrator.
I read the syntax and help from the documentation Help. But I was referring to how the recommendation can be implemented for the specific problem I raised.

Help with PULSE TRAIN and random variable
Dear experts, I need model a variable that maintains a constant value (but obtained from a random variable) that lasts for 365 days and repeats periodically every 365 days. What I want to simulate is a constant but random value every 365 days, and that the function keeps that value constant for 365 ...

Re: Units tips or laws
Thank you! For example: I have one stock variable with dmnl units. For Inflow and Outflow I understand that the units should be dmnl/time (dmnl/hour or dmnl/day, etc.) But when I postulate this in VENSIM, and I apply the units verification tool, VENSIM indicate to me that the units in left and right...

Units tips or laws

I mean, which units should be used for each type of variable according to the functions assigned to them, especially when functions are complex or nested. For examples: - Use these units and forma...

Re: Error in a counter variable
Thank you very much for your response! I'll explain what I'm trying to do: I'm attempting to model a stock variable whose value becomes zero when a specific condition is met. In other words, I want to reset its value and use it as a counter. This way, I could compute the amount of time it takes for ...
