Hi,
Is there any way of exporting the results of a sensitivity run in data list format with subscripts in separate columns?
Many thanks,
Siôn

VECTOR SELECT function
Hi,
I have a quick question...the manual says that the VECTOR SELECT function is more efficient for doing array operations (e.g. SUM) for sparse arrays. How sparse does an array need to be for it to be quicker to do sums across arrays using the VECTOR SELECT than the SUM function?
Thanks
Siôn

Sensitivity simulation and parameter correlation
Hi, I want to do some sensitivity simulations where the parameters that are being randomly generated are correlated. This is straight forward enough to do if the parameters are perfectly correlated. However I am interested in being able to define the degree of correlation between the randomly genera...

Re: Defining subscript elements
Hi, I have given it a go...but can't get it to work! Can you please help? I am trying to use the GET DIRECT SUBSCRIPT function for two different subscripts to pull in subscript names from a text file. I want to pull across the names for 'testsubscript1' from the first row in the text file, and for '...

MARKET MATCH
Hi, I need to do a many to many allocation which keeps track of who has supplied to whom. The Vensim documentation states that a MARKET MATCH function is being developed that will enable this, and there is indeed a MARKET MATCH X01 function available, but it appears to be undocumented. Can you pleas...

Re: [HELP] error with million value
Hi Tom, Thanks. I don't have any problems with scientific notation, and I do not think that this is just an issue of how the numbers are displayed. What is happening is that when you enter a value some of the digits are lost without warning. Another example, if you define a constant of 0.123456789 t...

Re: [HELP] error with million value
Hi,
The same thing happens to me (Vensim DSS 6.0a). If you create a constant with a value of 2599796 and then look at the model in text view the value has been changed to 2.5998e+006 rather than 2.599796e+006
All the best

Re: What improvements would you like to see in Vensim?
Hi! Great and powerful product folks! :) Some potential improvements I have thought would be good and would make my life a little easier, (some of which have been mentioned above but I would like to reiterate): - When data is brought into Vensim using :Hold Backward: etc then charts of this variable...

Re: Compiled Model Question...
Hi Tony, Tom, Thanks for your help - I have got it working now :D ... The compile was taking a long time to run through, and the time was greatly reduced by taking out the /02 switch. For info the improvements were as follows: Run time without compilation = 49s Compilation time without 02 switch = 4...
