I think that's more or less the best we can do with the newer sketch style.
I'll see if we can adjust things to line up the pipes. But the curves and drop shadows don't seem to be drawn at all.

Re: Unable to converge simultaneous loop
You've got some very basic errors in model formulation which is why I suggested going through the tutorial. "Total surface water" should be a stock/level which increases via "Natural rainfall" and decreases via "evaporation". "Evaporation rate" is 36.9 (but th...

Re: Unable to converge simultaneous loop
Have you been through any of the Vensim tutorials? I would start with the PLE tutorial at the following page,
http://www.public.asu.edu/~kirkwood/sysdyn/SDRes.htm
This will get you to the point where you can build a basic model. Once you've done this, I'd start again.

Re: How to publish a model using DLLs?
Sorry, I misunderstood your first mesage.
No, you cannot do this via the DLL. The DLL will only open published models, so there is no way to get the MDL file into the DLL in order to publish it. You need to run these commands in Vensim via a command script.

Re: Unable to converge simultaneous loop
You'll need to upload your model for us to be able to help.
It's rare that you even need to use this function, my guess is you have some sort of formulation problem.

Re: Multi-input Lookup
Sorry again, I'm still under the weather. I've attached a demo model that does this two different ways. 1. Reading the values in as data. This is my preferred way of doing things, read these in as a time series and use GET_DATA_AT_TIME ("time" being the outside diameter). But that might me...

Re: Vensim not correctly calculating stock from flows
Can you provide more detail please? Looking at the spreadsheet, there are two columns titled "calculated stock value", but it's not clear to me what stock this is referring to (there are numerous stocks in the model). Also, are you including time step in your Excel calcs? https://www.vensi...

Thank you.
This setting is also under the "Excel" settings window, so I'll remove it from the "General" section in the next Vensim release.

If you've used Vensim before, try deleting or renaming the .venple file in your home folder (it's hidden).
This will mean Vensim starts with default settings, maybe you had the old GUI running before?

Sorry for the slow reply (I'm unwell at the moment). I still just don't understand this at all. Can you try and simplify things please? Let me know what info you have, then what you need to get from it? If you have an array of lookups, it's easy to pick out a specific one which could be the 2nd look...

Yes. Create an unchangeable constant called "kg per lb", give it the correct units (kg/lb) and value (0.453592). Then you can use it to convert any kg or lb measurements in your model.

Re: Multi-input Lookup
I'm struggling to follow at what you are doing here. Subscripts are usually used to turn one variable into an array. So you could have a variable called "sales" and this could be subscripted by "region". I've had a go at building something simple that I think might be what you ar...
