You only get this with a redistribution kit.

I've just tried a new installation on 10.6 and it worked without any problems.

Does it crash when you start Vensim?

Re: Venapp's Help

You only need the one file, the VCD.

It's easier to start with an existing VCD file, if you look in the help files/models that come with Vensim, you will find a few examples. Start with one of these and modify it.

Re: Simulation setup(Input Datasets)

You would need PLE+, Pro or DSS.

The following website has a comparison between the various versions.

Re: Keeping Excel quiet when importing values into Vensim

PLE cannot read from Excel. The only solution would be to invest in PLE+, Pro or DSS.

Re: Subscripts and random distribution

You will need to debug the model to figure out why the end values are incorrect. My guess is that it is something to do with
IF THEN ELSE( Work Done[task] >= 0.98 * TASK SIZE[task], 1, 0)

I don't think anyone has the time to build your model for you.

If you upload your attempt and explain why you think it is not working, I'm sure we can take a quick look.

Re: Simulate vs Sensitivity

There are two, one for normal sims, one for sensitivity simulations. You were using the same list in both places, deleting it from the advanced tab should have been sufficient.

Click simulate and on the advanced tab, delete whatever id listed on the save list box. You might also need to delete it from the sensitivity tab as well.

Re: Simulate vs Sensitivity

What do you see when you display the graph for offtake? I see exactly what I am expecting.

One thing to check, run the model without the save list. It may be that offtake is not in the savelist and it is only reporting the initial value.

You will need to upload the model for us to give any advice (or preferably, just copy out the offending parameter into a new model and upload that to the forum).

Re: Modeling Project With multi-work scopes

Have a look at the sample models that ship with Vensim, there is one called "tubs" (in the sample\extra sub directory). This model fills a bathtub, once full, it starts filling the next. You could adapt this so that you have tasks instead of tubs, and each task starts when the last one rea...
