cmd-H brings up the dialog box "Sorry not implement yet" in Vensim DSS v8 beta 6.

The scaling modal dialog box, that shows when you open a Windows model file, has the instruction text cut off.

Preferred solution is to handling scaling for the user, and not need this dialog box at all.

Is the logging system you're using part of wxWidgets?

I've had a mylog() function that is #ifdef'd differently based on platform, calling different system logging functions when compiled. Not sure how many layers you're working with though.

I agree -- regular diff tools are "dumb", but they work because the structure of programming source files generally don't change significantly. Wouldn't an "Always order" preference make them MDL files keep the structure of the MDL mostly the same, making it more like programming...

Opening a model with an embedded graph has an extra line around it, mainly on the left and top edges. Drawing bug.

That page seems right. It should be in the same place that all macOS apps write their logs, so they can be view in /Utilities/Console.app.

Compare in Vensim isn't sufficient -- too cumbersome to use and a poor diff UI. XMILE doesn't work either, if you can't share files with others and have the UI included. For many versions, there have been graph drawing bugs. In v7.3, the backgrounds on showing up with black backgrounds. Screenshot attached.

To be clear: There should be no black in any of the five graphs in the screenshot. It should all be white instead.

Hide, under the Vensim application menu, isn't implement. It says, "Sorry, not implemented yet." It should be implement because this is standard functionality on macOS and people manage windows this way (and with cmd-H).

Every time I run Vensim and error log gets created in my home directory. Vensim is the only app that does this. It isn't the correct place to write error logs. Please have it write to the correct directory.

So rebooting my machine and relaunching Vensim seemed to make it work. But that was definitely more than just relaunching Vensim. Weird.
