In macOS v8.0, the button text in the toolbar overlaps. Hard to read. Screenshot attached.

Well this showed another dialog bug, with text falling off the screen. I don't know what it says, but the setting isn't "Raw" so I assume it should be zooming in like it is on Windows. Attached screenshot with the Control Panel setting and the Graph. Two issues now: 1. Not adjusting y-axis...

Before posting, I checked my toolbar button (right-clicked on it). What setting should I be looking for? "tight" and "loose"?

Does v8 only produce vdfx files? If so, I think what you suggest makes sense. Another option is to only show the extension if there are two files with the same root name, otherwise hide it. That way vdf (old) files don't look funny unless you have two datasets with the same name.

The legends on graphs for macOS v8beta19 include the file extension (.vdf or .vdfx). They don't on vensim on windows v7.x.

Standard practice on macOS is that the application menu is the name of the application, and then the first time is "About <appname>". Vensim DSS (v8 beta 19) has the "Vensim DSS" misspelled (without a space) and then "About Vensim" instead of "About Vensim DSS"...

I opened the Options window (under VensimDSS menu) in v8 beta and the window doesn't have focus. The title bar of the window is dim and weird looking for being frontmost.

Is there a way to use a command file to export at Vensim model to the XMILE file format? Tom thought there might be, but I don't know the syntax.

Yes, there could be something to HFS vs. APFS, since APFS references volumes differently, and I think uses some long hash like is showing in the screenshots.

I have FileVault turned on. I wonder if that matters? Also, is your volume formatted APFS or HFS? Fusion drives might be HFS still, and I’m on SSD with APFS.

I tried saving a model in XMILE using "Save As..." and didn't see XMILE. Please reactivate.

The text in the middle portion of the window to describe character set conversion is cutoff.

Also, suggest the dialog title be "Reform and Clean" to reflect the purpose of the modal dialog box and how the user got there.

This one actually bit me. I clicked "No" and didn't get the desire action. Maybe I should have clicked "Yes"?

Depending on what exactly your need is, you might also be able to use the FORECAST function. TREND function is also related.

There is always the option to turn it off. It would help everyone else. Just like Word and other applications Defense uses.

Sorry -- talking about hiding the entire application, like Safari -> Hide Safari (cmd-H). This is a system wide standard behavior that all mac apps should implement. Part of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
