There is still a vensim.ini for the Mac version. Go to where you installed Vensim, right click on the Vensim icon and select "Show Package Contents". Double click on "Contents", then "MacOS" and vensim.ini is in there. Can you email that file to me please (vensim@vensim...

I'm not as up to speed using Macs as most people. Is there a similar mode to the Windows safe mode that you could try Vensim in to rule out other applications interfering with Vensim?

The amount you remove from the level is
level / time step.
If you have a 0/1 switch that tells you when the year is starting, just multiply it by level / time step and remove it from the level.
