Vensim PLE Capabilities?

Hi Bob, Tony, Owain,...others,

I’m currently a student at MIT and recently installed Vensim PLE (5.1a). I'd like to create a model that can export data sets into an excel spreadsheet as well as import or “lookup” data values from excel. I know that Vensim has this capability and the help manual appears to indicate that PLE should have this capacity, but I don’t seem to be able to find the right options to do it. Any pointers for a novice? Or any idea if the free downloadable PLE can even do this?

Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Tom,

Welcome to the forum!

I am afraid that Vensim PLE does NOT support this option, you will need to obtain a copy of PLE Plus or a higher configuration.
