Very slow performance

Post by rosenm »

Hello!
I have noticed that if in the graph line width is set to 1, then all is OK. But if line width is 2, the performance is very bad. In the case of more points I need to restart the computer. Please, see the attached file.
Is this a bug or is normal behaviour> Vensim PLE, last version.

When using anything other than 1 as the line width, the graph is actually drawn multiple times.

I'll see if I can do anything about this though.

I've experimented a little with the source code, there is nothing I can do to improve performance here.

The line needs to be drawn multiple times to get the width, and with 8000 points, this is going to be a little slow.

I'll raise it as a bug though in case we can find something that helps.
