Change the default legend in the custom graph tool

Post by rdwang2016 »

Hi,
I try to use the custom graph tool to make figures from the simulation outputs of VENSIM. Please see the file attached. I have two questions as follows:
1. The legend in the bottom occupies too much space. How to make one-column legend into two columns?
2. The variable name "adopted consumers[p1]" is too long. Is it possible to change to a shorter variable name or dataset name using the label in the custom graph tool? Since I defined "Adopted consumers[company]" as subscript variable and use it in the custom graph, can I just show p1, p2, p3, p4, rather than adopted consumers[p1], adopted consumers[p2], ....
I try to find a solution from the manual but only a few information about how to "label". I'd appreciate if anyone can help. Thank you.

1. Can't presently be done, but this tool will get an overhaul in a forthcoming release.
2. You could do this using the "Label" field, but you'd have to have one entry per subscript element shown, which would be a little cumbersome.
