Dear Tom / Dear Administrator,

I was wondering how can I run my Venapp in Vensim Reader?!
I know that for running the model itself, it should be first saved as *.vmf file. I tried it and worked. But for Venapp, there is just one option in Save As: "Binary Venapp Definitions". However, it gets a *.vcf file not a *.vmf! Consequently, it cannot be opened in Vensim Reader.
I am using Vensim DSS 6.2.

Publish your model, and on the publish settings box that appears, select "Venapp" as the package type. Then select your venapp and click publish. The resulting file should work as expected in the model reader.

Thanks for your reply. It works, but the boxes that I have designed as inputs in the Venapp shows "error"! This will not happen if I run Venapp through Vensim. I have attached a screenshot of the venapp.

Screenshots are pretty useless, we cannot tell what you are doing.

If you can upload the venapp, we can take a look.

Please find in the attachment, the Venapp.

I cannot see a call to SPECIAL>LOADMODEL| in your venapp. Try adding it on the first screen and hopefully it will work.

Thank you for the link you provided. But these commands are not working in the Vensim Reader and get an error. I think they are just runnable merely in Vensim.

ok, what are the exact commands you are using to start the sensitivity run?

A good way to debug is to put just these commands into a CMD file and run that.
