Data variables

Hi,

I am having the following issue:

I have a dataset (vdf-file) which I want to use for 3 data variables. The data loads correctly into the 3 data variables (highlighted in red in the model attached). However, as soon as I try to do experimental runs I get the following error.

"The variable- Installation Rate DATA -and perhaps others require a data file be specified."

I am aware that I cannot specify data files in Vensim PLE, however, the data already loads correctly into the variables. So how can I solve this issue using the vdf data file as the data is already correctly displayed? I prefer not to use a lookup.

I attached the data file as well as the model.

As you know, you cannot use external data in PLE. There is no way round this.

You're probably seeing the data because the vdf containing it is loaded. You just can't run with it.

There is one workaround, which is to put the data in a lookup.
